Michael C. Morris, O.D.
Michael Morris, O.D. attended UCLA and graduated in 1971 with a degree in psychology. While there, he taught at the UC Fernald School, in the area of developmental psychology. He attended the Southern California College of Optometry and graduated (with honors), receiving his Doctor of Optometry in 1975. Dr. Morris has been in practice in West Covina since 1977. He is a member of American Optometric Association (AOA), COA, and Contact Lens Section of AOA. He is a noted Optometric lecturer on contact lenses and practices general Optometry, specializing in contact lenses and refractive laser management. Dr. Morris lives in West Covina. He is married with two adult children.

David J. Hill, O.D., F.A.A.O.
David Hill, O.D. graduated from the University of Wyoming in 1969 with a degree in biology. He attended the Southern California College of Optometry, receiving his Doctor of Optometry (with honors) in 1973. He has been in practice in West Covina since 1975, is a fellow of the American Academy of Optometry, and is also a member of American and California Optometric Associations. Dr. Hill is an Associate Clinical Professor at SCCO, and practices general Optometry, specializing in ocular pathology and refractive laser management. He is past president of the West Covina Chamber of Commerce and Lions Club. Dr. Hill is married, with two adult children and four grandchildren.

Kerry K. Assil, M.D.
Dr. Assil is a world-renowned expert in refractive surgery. He has invented and pioneered several surgical procedures including the Intrastromal Corneal Ring (ICR), combined technique RK, Phakic IOL and myopic and hyperopic LASIK. He has been featured on all major local and national news stations. He has the distinction of having taught his procedures to thousands of eye surgeons from all over the world. In addition, he has performed surgery on many colleagues and industry leaders from around the world. Dr. Assil has authored more than one hundred textbooks, textbook chapters and articles, and has lectured worldwide, including at such prestigious universities as Harvard, Johns Hopkins and Tokyo University.
A Phi Beta Kappa graduate of UCLA, Dr. Assil received his medical degree and subspecialty training from the University of California – San Diego, and then rose rapidly to the rank of Associate Professor at St. Louis University Medical Center. In 1992, Dr. Assil was honored to be the youngest member named to the Board of Directors of the International Society of Refractive Surgery (ISRS).
Dr. Assil is the Medical Director and CEO of the Assil Eye Institute located in Beverly Hills and Santa Monica, California. He is a Board Certified ophthalmologist, a fellow of the American Board of Ophthalmology, a member of the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons and has been certified by the Council for Refractive Surgery Quality Assurance. In his free time, Dr. Assil donates his surgical talents to the Assil Sight Fund, Southern California Lions and to several other charitable organizations.

Our contact lens technicians are fully knowledgeable in all of the latest contact lens types and materials. After fitting by the doctor, they assist in teaching the patient everything necessary for successful, comfortable contact lens wear.
